SYNOPSIS
This presentation outlines the cloud security measures implemented at the University of Limpopo, focusing on the AWS Cloud Environment used since 2022 for the ITS Integrator 4.1 system. It highlights key security components, including the FortiGate firewall, AWS VPN, and AWS Web Application Firewall (WAF), which protect staff access, back-office systems, and self-service portals like iEnabler for students and staff. The discussion covers the benefits of this security approach, such as data protection, controlled access, scalability, and compliance.
