SYNOPSIS
The presentation outlines the transition from a manual to an automated student refund system at WSU. The manual system was inefficient, with one official processing only 10 forms per day, leading to delays. Now up to 50 refunds are processed per day.
The configuration involves several key components designed to enhance the overall user experience and operational efficiency.
Students can now access a user-friendly online portal to apply for refunds, submit their applications, upload necessary documents, and track the status of their requests in real-time.
The automated system aims to improve efficiency, reduce human error, and provide a centralized process across WSU's multiple campuses, eliminating discrepancies and ensuring uniformity in handling refund applications.
