Automation of Graduation Planning and Execution
Presenter: Rene Genis (UJ) & Adelaide Mphahlele (UJ)
Chair: Christopher Eduful Arthur (UG)
SYNOPSIS
In this session, UJ will be looking at the journey of automation for graduation planning and execution.
The presentation will take the attendees from the journey of how UJ used to do graduation planning and execution in the past (this was mainly manual, tedious and labour-intensive)
Then, we moved into the automation of Business Processes by automating the allocation of seating cards and graduation programmes.
UJ did away with printing graduation programme booklets and used QR technology for the programme.
UJ will end the presentation by giving a snippet of what the future holds in the automation of graduation planning and execution.
This includes, among others, automatic identification and allocation of graduation information.
